A 7-inch colour e-Task touch screen provides direct control over workflow settings and device status.

The integrated DADF scans two-sided originals in a single pass at up to 150 scans per minute with a 200-page capacity. This speed suits continuous batch digitisation but the scanner bed remains a flatbed only, so bound documents or fragile media must be placed manually. Fax transmission uses ITU T.30 and V.34 half-duplex at 33.6 Kbps, limiting fax throughput to analogue line speeds.

65 ppm Mono Output with 1200x1200 dpi Resolution

Print and copy speed tops out at 65 pages per minute at 1200 x 1200 dpi, which determines whether this engine matches your peak monthly volume. The unit replaces the MX710DHE and adds standard duplex printing, USB and Ethernet connectivity, plus an optional wireless module. Organisations needing colour printing or higher fax modem speeds will need a different platform.
