Compatible Expansion Handset
The Lexmark COMEXMC20 is a wired expansion handset designed for the VB342 Pro and VB350 video conferencing systems. It extends audio pickup range for larger meeting spaces. This accessory targets organisations needing broader voice capture without adding wireless complexity. Buyers using incompatible conferencing hardware cannot use this microphone.
Verify System Compatibility
Confirm that your current installation uses a supported VB342 Pro or VB350 base unit before purchase. The handset connects via a proprietary wired interface requiring a dedicated port on the main device. No alternative mounting options or wireless pairing methods are documented for this model. Installations lacking the correct host port will not function.
Wired Deployment Characteristics
A fixed 65.62 ft cable supplies both power and audio signal, eliminating battery management and radio interference. The permanent tether restricts placement to areas within the cable radius of the host unit. Heat output and acoustic noise from the handset itself are negligible during typical conferencing sessions. Cable routing through walls or ceilings may require professional installation.
