Colour laser MFP for workgroups

The Lexmark CX725de is a colour laser multifunction printer built for workgroups that need print, scan, copy and fax in one device. It delivers up to 50 pages per minute in both mono and colour with automatic duplex printing. A 2.5 GB memory and Gigabit Ethernet support network sharing. The monthly duty cycle reaches 150000 pages.

Suits high-volume offices not low-use homes

This MFP suits offices that regularly print thousands of pages and need a 50-sheet automatic document feeder for batch scanning. It also fits teams requiring a 650-sheet total input capacity across a 550-sheet tray and a 100-sheet multipurpose tray. Buyers who only print occasionally or need a compact desktop unit should look at something else.

50 ppm colour speed with 150000-page duty cycle

The key specification is the 50 ppm colour print speed combined with a 150000-page duty cycle, which determines whether the device matches the workload. If the volume or speed requirement is lower, a smaller model may be more appropriate.
