75" QNED AI 4K Smart TV

The LG Electronics 75QNED82AUA is a 75 inch 4K QNED television built for viewers who want vibrant colour and smart features in a large-screen format. It runs the 2025 webOS platform with access to major streaming apps and over 350 free LG Channels. The Alpha 7 AI Processor Gen8 automatically enhances picture and sound for whatever you are watching. This model suits living rooms where a bright, colour-rich panel is preferred over OLED.

Edgelit Dimming Pro panel

Edgelit backlighting with Dimming Pro adjusts local zones to maintain deep black levels while keeping the cabinet slim. The 120 Hz refresh rate handles fast motion cleanly for sports and gaming without introducing excessive panel heat. Virtual 5.1 surround sound creates an immersive audio field without external speakers. The processor manages power draw dynamically based on content brightness and processing load.

Two HDMI 2.1 ports for gaming

Two HDMI 2.1 inputs support 4K at 120 Hz with VRR and FreeSync for tear-free gaming, plus GeForce NOW cloud gaming built in. The Game Optimiser and Game Dashboard put settings at your fingertips via the Magic Remote. Filmmaker Mode preserves the director's intent for cinematic content. Buyers who need more than two high-bandwidth HDMI connections or who require an OLED panel for perfect blacks should consider other options.

Questions about this item

How do I connect a console to the two HDMI 2.1 ports so I can use 120Hz gaming?

Plug the console into either HDMI 2.1 port with a certified Ultra High Speed cable, then enable 120Hz output in the console settings and turn on VRR in the TV Game Optimizer menu.

Will the LED backlight or the Alpha 7 AI Processor Gen8 need replacement after a few years of daily use?

The LED backlight is rated for tens of thousands of hours and the processor is solid-state; neither is a user-replaceable part under normal home viewing conditions.

At what point does the Edgelit dimming system stop keeping blacks deep during a long HDR movie?

Dimming Pro adjusts the Edgelit backlight zone by zone, so in extended dark scenes the limited zone count reaches its floor before the panel contrast does.
