Vertically mounts a graphics card in a Lancool II case with a 200 mm PCIe 3.0 riser cable while leaving room for two 120 mm fans beneath
The Lian Li LAN2-1X combines a 200 mm PCIe 3.0 x16 riser cable with a dedicated bracket that lets you install a graphics card vertically in a LANCOOL II or LANCOOL II Mesh chassis. The black cable supports PCIe 2.0 and 3.0 signalling at up to 8 Gbps, preserving full bandwidth for high-end GPUs. A cut-out in the bracket maintains clearance for two 120 mm fans mounted beneath the card, keeping airflow unobstructed.
The included 200 mm riser routes the x16 connection from the motherboard to the vertical bracket without sharp bends, while the bracket secures the card parallel to the side panel. This arrangement showcases the GPU’s design and backplate through a tempered-glass window. Builders using a PCIe 4.0 motherboard and GPU must set the slot to Gen 3 in the BIOS for stable operation with the supplied cable.
This kit is for LANCOOL II or LANCOOL II Mesh owners who want a vertical GPU layout with room for intake fans below the card. It does not fit other cases, and the 200 mm cable length is fixed for that chassis. Builders who need a longer riser, PCIe 4.0 throughput without BIOS changes, or a horizontal mounting option should look at alternative solutions.

The cable is rated for PCIe 3.0 speeds up to 8 Gbps; running a PCIe 4.0 GPU requires setting the motherboard slot to Gen 3 in BIOS, so the cable itself does not need replacement but will limit the link to 3.0 bandwidth.
The bracket positions the card above two 120 mm fan mounts, letting unrestricted airflow reach the GPU cooler; the first limit will be the graphics card's own thermal throttle point, not the bracket.
The passive riser cable adds no active cooling or moving parts, so it contributes no measurable noise or heat; system acoustics and thermals remain those of the GPU and case fans alone.
