Wireless 2.4 GHz RGB extension

The Lian Li Strimer Wireless is an 8-pin GPU power extension cable that adds addressable RGB lighting along twin light guides. It measures 382 mm or 15.03 in and uses a 2.4 GHz wireless control system to reduce internal cabling. The white colourway matches bright-themed builds.

Builders wanting cable-free RGB control

This cable suits enthusiasts who want vibrant lighting without routing a separate controller wire to a motherboard header. It is not for systems that lack a compatible Lian Li wireless controller, because the required RF-T-B controller is sold separately and must be purchased to operate the lighting.

Separate controller purchase required

The single specification that decides fitment is the mandatory external controller, which is not included in the package. Without the RF-T-B unit the extension will deliver power but the RGB functions will remain inactive.

Questions about this item

Does the 2.4 GHz wireless control add heat or power draw to the 382 mm extension cable?

The wireless module draws power directly through the 8-pin extension itself, so no extra power cable is needed and heat remains comparable to a standard sleeved extension.

What separate component must I already own to make the RGB lighting work?

You need the Lian Li RF-T-B wireless controller, which is sold separately and is required to drive the eight light guides.

Will the 15.03-inch length reach a dual 8-pin GPU if I keep my existing ATX 3.0 power supply?

Yes, the 382 mm cable connects between your PSU’s native 8-pin leads and the graphics card’s dual 8-pin sockets regardless of PSU generation.
