Direct Replacement Battery

This 2.4 V 750 mAh nickel-metal hydride pack replaces the original power source for Lightspeed Flexcat handheld remote controls and Flexmike units. It matches part numbers 2EXL7379-PTC, 77-NH2.4V-D, BA-NH2.4V-C and NH2.4V so installers can swap cells without soldering or adapter cables.

Rated Capacity and Runtime

The cell delivers 1.8 Wh at a nominal 2.4 V, supporting typical classroom or presentation sessions before requiring a recharge. Runtime falls off when the pack is left discharged for extended periods or when charged with unregulated third-party adapters that exceed the specified voltage.

Decoded Chip and Protection Circuit

An integrated fully decoded chip communicates with the host device exactly as the factory battery does, enabling accurate fuel-gauge reporting. On-board circuitry guards against over-charge, over-discharge, over-voltage and short-circuit events, while the shipping tray uses shock-absorbing foam to prevent transit damage.

Questions about this item

Will the 2.4 V 750 mAh pack fit the Flexcat Handheld Remote Control and Flexmike I already use?

Yes — it matches part numbers 2EXL7379-PTC, 77-NH2.4V-D, BA-NH2.4V-C and NH2.4V for those exact models.

How can I confirm the new battery is operating correctly once installed?

After two or three full charge-discharge cycles the pack reaches its rated 1.8 Wh capacity and the decoded chip reports status like the original.

Does the package include a charger or only the 26.0 g battery with its 45.40 × 21.20 × 11.60 mm dimensions?

Only the battery and protective foam are supplied; a compatible charger must be purchased separately.
