USB-C to Asus 4.0×1.35 mm Adapter

This 1.8 m cord converts a USB-C Power Delivery charger into a 4.0 × 1.35 mm barrel connector for compatible Asus laptops. It supports up to 100 W input and includes an E-Mark chip for PD negotiation. The reversible USB-C plug and nylon-braided cable suit daily charging in home or office settings. It is intended only for power delivery, not data transfer.

Power Delivery Negotiation Limits

The adapter requires a USB-C PD charger rated at or above the laptop’s own input wattage; a 65 W laptop needs at least a 65 W charger. It works with 45 W, 65 W and 90 W Asus barrels but cannot boost power beyond what the source provides. Without a sufficient PD source the cable will not charge the device. Buyers who need to charge from a lower-wattage USB-C port cannot use this adapter.

4.0 × 1.35 mm Tip Compatibility

The barrel tip fits Asus models that use the 4.0 × 1.35 mm DC jack, including listed Vivobook, Zenbook and X-series units. Laptops with a different barrel size or a proprietary connector will not connect. Buyers who need a different tip diameter or a slim-tip connector cannot use this cord.
