24X DVD Writer for SATA Builds

The Lite-On iHAS124-14 is an internal DVD burner with a black tray-loading panel and a SATA interface. It writes DVD+R and DVD-R media at 24X and reads DVD-ROM discs at 16X. CD-R writing reaches 48X while CD-ROM reading also peaks at 48X.

Suits Archival and Legacy Media Tasks

This drive fits users who need to create or read DVD and CD discs on a desktop with a free SATA port. It is not suited for buyers who require Blu-ray playback or recording, nor for systems that lack an internal 5.25-inch bay and SATA connectivity.

24X Maximum DVD Write Speed Decides Fit

The single specification that determines suitability is the 24X DVD+R and DVD-R write speed. If your workflow demands faster optical writing or a different disc format, this unit will not meet that requirement.
