Lite-On IHAS324 24x DVD Burner

The Lite-On IHAS324 is an internal optical drive designed for desktop computers with a standard 5.25" half-height bay. It writes DVD±R media at 24x speed and supports double-layer discs at 8x. CD-R recording reaches 48x while CD-RW rewriting runs at 32x. The black bezel matches typical chassis aesthetics.

Suits builders adding legacy media support

This drive fits users who need to read or write DVDs and CDs for software installation, data archiving or disc playback. It is not for systems lacking a 5.25" internal bay or builders who require Blu-ray read or write capability. Laptop users and compact mini-PC owners cannot install this half-height form factor.

24x maximum DVD write speed

The peak 24x DVD±R write rate determines how quickly you can burn a single-layer disc. Double-layer DVD recording is limited to 8x and DVD-ROM reading tops out at 16x. CD media reads at 48x and rewrites at 32x. These speeds define the drive's throughput for every supported format.
