Grip Tape for Hockey Sticks

This 39 inch roll of Durasoft Polymer tape is built for ice hockey players who want a secure hold without adding bulk to the handle. The multi-colour Wildfire Camo design comes with a full adhesive backing and pre-cut ends for quick application. It includes a finishing tape and top cap so the job is complete in one pack.

Durasoft Polymer Behaviour

The material stays soft and tacky through cold rink conditions and long shifts, keeping its grip texture consistent rather than hardening or slipping. Because it adds virtually no thickness, the player feels the stick shaft directly for responsive puck handling. The adhesive holds the wrap in place for repeated sessions without peeling at the edges.

.5 mm Thickness Constraint

At .5 mm the tape is engineered for players who refuse any noticeable increase in handle diameter. Builders who need a thicker cushion layer or a different texture profile should look elsewhere. The slim profile is the single factor that decides if this roll matches your preferred stick feel.

Questions about this item

Does the .5 mm Durasoft Polymer tape add noticeable weight or heat to the stick during a full game?

The .5 mm Durasoft Polymer layer is lightweight and adds virtually no thickness, so it does not create extra heat or weight during extended play.

What adhesive or tools are needed to apply this grip tape to a stick?

Each 39 inch roll has full adhesive backing and pre-cut ends, and the package includes a DSP finishing tape and Top Cap, so no separate adhesive or tools are required.

Can I still use my usual cloth tape for a knob or finger grooves over this grip?

Yes, the tape is designed to be wrapped directly underneath your regular cloth tape, so existing knob or groove habits remain unchanged.
