Ultra-Lightweight Bat Grip

The Lizard Skins DSP Ultra Bat Grip Tape is a 1.8 mm thick wrap designed for baseball and softball players who want a secure hold in any weather. Its Durasoft Polymer backing delivers a slip-resistant surface that reduces vibration on contact, helping batters maintain a relaxed, tension-free swing. The American Dream pattern adds a distinctive look at the plate.

Simple Wrap Application

Each grip measures 39 inches long and arrives with pre-cut ends plus a full adhesive back, so it fits wood, aluminum or composite bats without extra tools. A Finish Strip is included to secure the tail cleanly. The main installation risk is trapping air bubbles or misaligning the spiral, which can create ridges that affect feel.

Thickness and Pattern Limits

At 1.8 mm the tape adds minimal bulk while still dampening sting on mishits. Players who prefer a thicker, more cushioned wrap may find this profile too thin for comfort. The specialised texture is optimised for dry and wet conditions but offers no additional padding beyond the polymer layer itself.
