What the Lockin Veno Smart Lock Is

The Lockin Veno is a keyless entry door lock that uses palm vein and fingerprint biometrics plus four additional unlock methods. It connects directly to home networks through built-in WiFi, Bluetooth and Thread radios and works with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Apple HomeKit without a separate hub.

Who This Smart Lock Suits

Homeowners who want fast, touchless entry for the whole family — including children, seniors or anyone with worn or wet fingertips — will benefit from the 0.17 s palm vein scanner and 99.9 % accuracy. Buyers who need a lock that fits a non-standard door thickness or requires a mortise installation should look elsewhere, as the specifications only list the standard cylindrical deadbolt dimensions.

The Specification That Decides Fit

The lock is powered by a 7.4 V 5000 mAh rechargeable lithium-ion battery rated for up to 7 months of operation and includes a USB-C emergency charging port for backup access when the battery is depleted.

Questions about this item

Does the Lockin Veno need a separate hub or bridge to connect to Wi-Fi?

No, the lock has built-in Wi-Fi so it connects directly to your home network without an extra hub.

Will the mechanical backup key still operate the deadbolt if the 7.4 V 5000 mAh battery is completely flat?

Yes, a hidden mechanical key cylinder is provided and works independently of the battery state.

How can I verify the palm-vein reader is functioning correctly after installation?

Enrol your palm in the app, then check that the lock unlocks in roughly 0.17 seconds and the app logs a successful entry.
