Lockjaw 20-0313075 Winch Line Synthetic 5/16 in 75 ft 4400 lb Gray Red

What the line is for

This Lockjaw synthetic winch line measures 5/16 in by 75 ft and has a working load limit of 4400 lb. It is built for vehicle recovery and utility pulling where a lightweight, non‑steel rope is preferred. The grey and red construction includes an integrated shackle for quick attachment. Buyers who need a steel cable or a higher load rating should look elsewhere.

Deciding specification

The 4400 lb working load limit is the single figure that determines whether this line matches the winch and the load. Exceeding that limit risks failure, so the line must be paired with a winch rated at or below the same capacity. The 5/16 in diameter and 75 ft length are fixed and cannot be altered.

Behaviour under sustained load

Synthetic fibre does not store energy like steel, so it releases less snap‑back tension if it breaks during a long pull. The material resists kinking and stays flexible in cold weather, allowing repeated cycles without permanent deformation. A one‑year manufacturer warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship.
