Saf-T-Cart 935-8S Cylinder Hand Truck 250 lb 45x21 in

Cylinder Hand Truck for 250 lb Loads

The Saf-T-Cart 935-8S is a steel hand truck designed to move gas cylinders and similar loads up to 250 lb. It measures 45 in tall by 21 in wide with a 6-1/2 in depth. Two 8 in semipneumatic rubber wheels on an axle-mounted configuration provide mobility over flat surfaces. A T-shaped handle and a chain securing mechanism help keep the cylinder in place during transport.

Check Doorways and Floor Conditions

Verify that your doorways and aisles can accommodate the 21 in overall width and 45 in height before ordering. The semipneumatic rubber wheels roll best on smooth, hard surfaces and may struggle on loose gravel, soft turf or steep ramps. Ensure the chain securing mechanism is compatible with the diameter of the cylinders you intend to move. No foot assist or lever pushoff is included, so the operator must lift the load onto the frame manually.

Suited for Light Industrial Cylinder Moving

This truck suits warehouses, workshops or delivery routes that move standard cylinders weighing up to 250 lb on level floors. It is not for buyers who need to climb stairs or kerbs regularly, as the fixed axle wheels lack stair-climbing capability. Operators who require a foot plate or lever assist to tilt heavy cylinders should look at models that include those features. The absence of a firewall also makes it unsuitable for applications demanding a protective barrier between the load and the handler.
