Lockport Gaffers Tape 4 inch x 30 Yards

This professional-grade cloth tape secures cables, props and equipment on stages, film sets and in studios. The matte black finish absorbs light so the tape stays invisible under stage or camera lighting. It tears cleanly by hand in both directions for fast, precise application during live events or productions.

Check surface compatibility before use

The adhesive is formulated to leave no residue when removed from typical venue floors, studio walls and equipment cases. Verify that the surface is clean and dry for the strongest bond, especially on painted or delicate finishes. The tape is water resistant, so it holds in damp conditions but is not rated for permanent outdoor exposure.

Cloth construction with matte black coating

The fabric backing gives high tensile strength while remaining easy to tear without tools. The non-reflective surface prevents unwanted highlights in photographs and video. Supplied as a single 4 inch by 30 yard roll, it fits standard gaffer tape dispensers and can be carried in a gear bag for quick rigging and strike.

Questions about this item

Does the roll include a dispenser or do I need to supply my own cutting tool?

The roll is hand-tearable in both directions so no dispenser or scissors are required.

Should I choose the 4-inch width or one of the narrower rolls listed?

Choose the 4-inch width when you need to cover cables or large areas quickly; the 2-inch and 3-inch rolls suit finer detail work.
