Low-Strength Purple Threadlocker Tape

Loctite 135333 222MS is an anaerobic threadlocking tape supplied in a 10 mL bottle. The purple colour identifies its low-strength formulation designed for small fasteners. It cures in the absence of air between metal threads to prevent loosening from vibration.

Suited for Brass, Bronze, Copper.

This product suits maintenance tasks on small brass, bronze, copper, iron, manganese, Monel, nickel or steel fasteners where occasional disassembly with hand tools is required. It is not intended for high-strength locking or for fasteners larger than the stated maximum thread diameter.

Breakaway Torque 25 in-lb and 20 min Working Time

The adhesive develops a breakaway torque of 25 in-lb after full anaerobic cure, confirming its low-strength rating. A 20 minute working time allows repositioning during assembly before the curing process begins. Meets Mil-S-46163-A Type II Grade M.
