Clear Instant Adhesive for Precision Bonding

Loctite 528576 is a clear instant adhesive supplied in a 20g bottle. The formulation is surface insensitive and cures by humidity to a functional cure in 6 hours. It bonds metal, plastic and rubber with a low viscosity of 25 cps and a gap fill of .003 in.

Suited for Small-Scale Repairs and Assembly

This adhesive suits technicians and hobbyists who need a fast, electrically insulating bond on compatible materials. The built-in dispenser is a simple bottle with no applicator tip, so it is less convenient for dispensing controlled micro-dots. Buyers who need impact resistant joints or exterior weathering performance should look at alternative products.

Humidity Cure Defines Working Window

The cure method relies on ambient humidity, meaning set time varies with moisture levels in the air and on the substrate. A functional cure is reached at 6 hours, after which the bond reaches full strength. This single characteristic determines whether the adhesive fits the production or repair schedule.

Questions about this item

Does the 20 g bottle include an applicator or must I buy one separately?

The bottle has no built-in dispenser so you apply directly from the nozzle; Loctite SF 712 accelerator is sold separately if faster cure is needed.

Why choose the 20 g size in the 4501 series instead of a larger pack?

The 20 g bottle suits small repairs and occasional use; larger packs exist but are not covered by this listing.

What does the 25 cps viscosity mean when I am bonding rubber parts?

At 25 cps the adhesive flows like a thin oil, wetting rubber surfaces quickly and filling gaps up to 0.003 in before curing in about six hours.
