Direct Burial Audio Cable

This 14 AWG two-conductor speaker wire is rated for direct burial and in-wall installation. It uses oxygen-free copper strands of 0.16 mm diameter to carry audio signals outdoors or through walls. The 250 ft pull box suits whole-home or landscape audio projects. Installers and DIY owners gain a single spool for long, continuous runs.

UV Resistant Jacket Construction

A polyethylene jacket with UV-resistant and fire-retardant compounds shields the conductors from sunlight degradation. An inner PET film layer blocks oxygen, water vapour and carbon dioxide from reaching the copper. HDPE insulation separates the two conductors for consistent spacing. The black finish blends with mulch, siding or conduit for a discreet appearance.

Upgrade From Thin Indoor Wire

Standard indoor speaker cable lacks the moisture barrier and UV protection needed for burial or exterior exposure. This wire replaces those lighter gauges when the run crosses a lawn, passes under a patio or travels through damp walls. The jump is worth it whenever the cable leaves the climate-controlled interior and faces earth, rain or direct sun.
