  • Two-step ferrule with strain relief protects cable from bending stress
  • Supplied as a 100 pack for multi-camera CCTV projects

What this product is and who it is for

This pack contains one hundred two-piece BNC male crimp connectors built for RG59 coaxial cable. Installers fitting CCTV, antenna, CATV or satellite runs can terminate many cables from a single box.

The specification that decides fit

Each connector uses a captive centre-pin design with a two-step ferrule that adds strain relief during crimping. The parts are made for RG59 only; other coaxial sizes will not seat correctly.

Thermals noise and power draw

These are passive metal fittings with nickel-plated brass bodies and gold-plated centre pins. They generate no heat, produce no noise and draw no power once crimped onto the cable.

Questions about this item

How does the two-piece crimp design hold up once the connector is on the cable?

The captive centre pin and two-step ferrule with strain relief keep the centre conductor fixed and the braid clamped, so the joint resists pull-out and signal loss after crimping.

What does the RG59 designation limit when I terminate the cable?

The connector is sized for RG59 coaxial cable only; using it on RG6 or other diameters will give a loose or oversized crimp and unreliable shielding contact.

What tooling and cable prep are needed to fit these connectors?

You need a BNC crimp tool matched to the two-step ferrule, plus a coax stripper set for RG59 dimensions to expose the centre conductor, dielectric and braid to the correct lengths.
