Two-foot patch cables for nearby connections

This two-pack supplies 2 ft blue Cat5e patch cords with 24 AWG stranded conductors and gold-plated contacts. The cables follow the T-568B wiring standard and are tested to 350 MHz bandwidth. Molded strain relief and snag-free boots protect the RJ45 plugs during repeated insertion.

Unshielded twisted pair for standard LAN ports

Each cord uses unshielded twisted-pair construction suited to typical home and office switches, routers and wall plates. The short length keeps cable management tidy on a desk or in a rack without excess slack. Builders needing longer runs, shielded cable or higher-category performance will need different cabling.

Questions about this item

Will the 24 AWG stranded conductors limit the distance I can run this cable?

The cable is built with 24 AWG 4-pair stranded conductors and measures 2 ft, matching the typical patch-lead length for rack or desk connections.

Does the 350 MHz test rating mean the cable runs hotter or draws more power during all-day use?

No, the 350 MHz verification is a signal-quality benchmark; the passive copper assembly adds no heat or power draw beyond the connected devices.
