  • Tangle-free routing via snag-free boot design
  • Clean installation using 24 AWG stranded wire

Two cables for short runs

This pack supplies two white CAT5e patch cables each measuring three feet. They use 24 AWG stranded conductors in an unshielded twisted-pair layout with T-568B wiring. Gold-plated contacts rated at 50 micron and moulded strain relief with snag-free boots protect the RJ45 connectors during repeated insertion.

Fits tight spaces between devices

The short length suits connections between a wall jack and a desktop, a switch and a patch panel, or any equipment sitting side by side on a shelf. Tested to 350 MHz the cables support gigabit speeds without the slack that longer cords leave behind. RoHS compliant construction meets restricted-substance requirements for office and home networks.

Questions about this item

Does the 24 AWG stranded construction limit how far I can run this cable at full speed?

Each cable is three feet long and tested to 350 MHz, so the short length and stranded 24 AWG conductors keep signal loss well within Cat5e limits for gigabit Ethernet.

Will the molded strain relief and snag-free boots prevent heat buildup or connector wear during continuous use?

The molded strain relief and snag-free boots protect the 50 micron gold-plated contacts from physical stress, but the unshielded twisted-pair design does not generate measurable heat under normal network loads.
