Ideal for structured wiring

This Logico Cat6 FTP shielded riser cable is built for installers running voice, data, video or security networks between floors and inside walls. The CMR rating meets vertical-run fire requirements for non-plenum spaces. Pure bare copper conductors and an overall aluminium foil shield protect signal integrity across the full 1000 ft reel.

Upgrade from unshielded Cat5e

The jump is worth it when electromagnetic interference from power lines or dense cable bundles threatens throughput. Shielding and 550 MHz tested bandwidth support 1 and 5 Gigabit speeds up to 328 ft and 10 Gigabit up to 165 ft. PoE, PoE+ and PoE++ (802.3af/at/bt) 4PPoE to 100 W are also supported.

Headroom for gigabit backbone runs

Solid 23 AWG conductors on a tangle-free wooden reel give clean pulls for long horizontal drops. The 1000 ft length covers multi-drop floors without splices. Not suited for plenum spaces or outdoor burial; buyers needing those ratings must select a different jacket type.
