Slim Cat6 patch cables for dense racks

A pack of 10 Logico CAT6 Slim Ethernet Patch Cables uses 28 AWG pure copper conductors to deliver up to 10 Gbps and supports Power over Ethernet. The slim profile and uniform 3 ft length suit data centres, server rooms and tidy home networks where space is tight.

28 AWG pure copper enables 10 Gbps and PoE

The 28 AWG gauge is the deciding specification: it keeps the cable diameter small for high-density patch panels while still carrying 10 Gbps and PoE current. Thicker cables would block adjacent ports; thinner conductors would not meet the performance target.

Snagless tabs survive repeated mating cycles

Clear easy-release tabs and a snagless boot prevent the latch from catching on neighbouring cables during frequent inserts and removes. Strain relief on each end protects the termination point so performance stays consistent after hundreds of connect and disconnect cycles in busy racks.

Questions about this item

What does 10 Gbps mean for my actual network speed?

The cables are rated for up to 10 Gbps data transfer, so they will not bottleneck a 10 GbE connection over this short 3 ft run.

Which Ethernet standard do these cables follow and what does it limit?

They are built to the Cat6 standard, which supports up to 10 Gbps over short distances and works with PoE.

Will the 28 AWG slim cables fit tightly packed patch panels?

Yes, the 28 AWG slim profile and snagless, easy-release tabs are designed for high-density racks and tight spaces.
