Ten-pack for short runs

This pack contains ten 2 ft red Cat6 UTP patch cables intended for short-distance Ethernet connections. Each cable uses a 24AWG stranded conductor with four twisted pairs and gold-plated contacts rated at 50 Micron. The moulded strain relief and snag-free boot protect the RJ45 plug during repeated insertion and removal. The cables are suited to home offices, rack patching or temporary test setups where a compact red cable aids identification.

Rated to 550 MHz bandwidth

The Cat6 construction meets T-568B wiring and is specified for 550 MHz bandwidth, supporting Gigabit Ethernet and 10 Gigabit Ethernet over the short 2 ft length. Unshielded twisted pair design keeps the cable flexible but offers no protection against strong external electromagnetic interference. Performance beyond the rated frequency or in electrically noisy environments is not guaranteed by the specification.

Stranded conductors and snag-free boots

Stranded 24AWG conductors make each cable more pliable than solid-core alternatives, easing routing through tight cable managers or around rack corners. The moulded strain relief prevents the connector from bending at a sharp angle, while the snag-free boot stops the latch catching on adjacent cables during moves. Gold-plated contacts resist oxidation for consistent conductivity over many mating cycles.
