25-Pack F81 Barrel Connectors

This 25-pack supplies F81 barrel connectors built for RG6 or RG59 coaxial cables. Each unit is a female-to-female adapter rated to 4GHz. The brass body with nickel plating and green inserts includes a washer. They suit installers extending or joining cable runs in broadband distribution systems.

Replaces loose couplers and gender mismatches

Use these when a terminated cable needs a straight splice or a gender change without re-terminating. The 4GHz bandwidth supports high-frequency broadband signals. The jump is worth it when a project demands many reliable junctions and the included washers simplify weather-sealing on outdoor drops.

Fits standard F-type coaxial infrastructure

Thread each end onto an F-type male connector to create a continuous shielded path. The one-inch length keeps the joint compact inside enclosures or behind wall plates. Brass construction resists corrosion, freeing up maintenance time on long-term surveillance or network deployments.

Questions about this item

Will the 1 inch long F81 barrel connector fit behind my wall plate?

The F81 barrel connector measures 1 inch long and has a brass body with nickel plating, so check your wall plate depth against that length.

How do I install these connectors on RG6 or RG59 coax cables without damaging the green inserts?

Screw each male F-type cable end into the female ports until the green inserts seat firmly; the included washer helps maintain contact, but avoid over-tightening.

When should I replace the nickel-plated brass connectors in a 4GHz distribution system?

Replace connectors if the nickel plating shows corrosion, the green inserts crack, or signal loss appears at 4GHz frequencies.
