Logico F81 Barrel Connectors

This pack supplies ten female-to-female F-type barrel connectors for joining RG6 or RG59 coaxial cables. Installers and DIY users can extend cable runs or change connector gender on already-terminated leads without re-crimping. The brass body with nickel plating resists corrosion in indoor and protected outdoor runs. Each unit measures one inch in length.

Rated to 4 GHz for broadband distribution

The connectors maintain signal integrity up to 4 GHz, supporting high-frequency broadband and distribution networks. Green inserts and included washers provide a weather-resistant seal that keeps moisture out and reduces signal loss. Solid brass construction minimises insertion loss and holds up to repeated mating cycles in surveillance and CATV installations.

Ten-piece pack simplifies multi-camera jobs

With ten adapters in one package, technicians can complete several camera drops or cable extensions from a single bag. The F81 design slides onto standard F-type male ends, so no special tools are required beyond a compression or crimp tool for the original cable prep. The compact barrel fits behind wall plates and inside tight junction boxes where larger couplers would not clear.

Questions about this item

How do I install the F81 barrel connector onto an RG6 or RG59 coaxial cable?

Screw each F-type male end of your terminated cables into the female ports on the barrel until finger-tight, then snug gently with a wrench; the included washer seats automatically and the green insert centres the centre conductor.

Will the nickel-plated brass body or green inserts need replacement over time?

The brass body and nickel plating resist corrosion in indoor runs, while the green inserts hold the centre pin alignment; they typically last the life of the installation unless physically damaged.

At what frequency does signal loss become noticeable with these connectors?

Rated to 4 GHz, the F81 splice maintains low loss through typical satellite and broadband bands; degradation only appears well above that range in sustained high-power use.
