Zoom Rooms Touch Controller

This system pairs a 10.1-inch capacitive touch controller with a Dell OptiPlex 7000 XE Micro PC, pre-configured for Zoom Rooms deployments. It delivers one-touch join, calendar integration, and direct content sharing for meeting spaces. The bundle targets IT teams deploying consistent video conferencing experiences across multiple rooms.

Build Integration Needs

The micro desktop requires a display connection via DisplayPort 1.4a or HDMI 2.0b to drive the room screen. It connects to the network through Wi-Fi 6E or wired Ethernet for Zoom platform access. Peripherals such as conference cameras and audio devices attach via USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C and additional USB ports. The Cat5e kit extends the touch controller placement away from the PC.

Capacity and Headroom

An Intel Core i7-12700T 12-core processor with 16 GB DDR4 RAM handles multi-participant Zoom meetings and content sharing workloads. Five DisplayPort outputs support multi-display room layouts. The system is not suited for workloads needing discrete graphics acceleration or local storage expansion beyond the integrated configuration.
