What the product is and who it is for

The Logitech 952-000047 is a 10 m extension cable designed to connect Rally Mic Pods to Table or Display Hubs. It lets installers bridge longer distances on large conference tables without signal loss. The plenum-rated, ECA-certified jacket meets commercial building codes, and a clip-on cable holder keeps the run tidy. It ships new and weighs 1.0000 kg.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

Integrators fitting Rally, Bar, Bar Mini or Plus systems in rooms where the hub sits far from the microphones will find the 32.81 ft reach essential. Buyers who need a shorter run, a different connector gender or a non-plenum cable for residential use should look at other options. The single male-to-female microphone connector also means it cannot link two hubs directly or serve as a generic USB extender.

The specification that decides fit

Cable length is the decisive figure: at exactly 10 m (32.81 ft) it determines whether the Mic Pod can reach the hub in your room layout. Measure the path from hub to furthest pod; if the distance exceeds this length the cable will not work and no daisy-chaining is supported. If the run is shorter, the excess can be coiled using the included clip.

Questions about this item

How much clearance is needed for the 10 m cable run and clip placement?

The extension cable measures 32.81 ft end-to-end and includes a clip-on cable manager, so allow that full length plus a small radius where the clip anchors to the surface.

Which connector ends plug into the Rally Table Hub and the Mic Pod?

One end carries a male microphone connector that seats in the Table Hub or Display Hub, and the opposite end presents a female microphone connector that receives the Mic Pod plug.

When should the plenum-rated cable or clip be inspected or replaced?

Inspect the cable jacket and clip after any re-routing or if the ECA-certified plenum rating is required for a new building code; replace if the jacket shows cuts, kinks or the clip no longer holds securely.
