Logitech Rally Conferencing Camera

The Logitech Rally Camera is a 13 megapixel USB 3.0 conferencing device built for meeting rooms that demand Ultra-HD 1080p at 30 fps or 4K resolution at 60 fps. It serves teams who need a single, wired camera that captures every participant with a 90 degree field of view and 15X HD zoom. Buyers who want wireless pairing or built-in microphone arrays will need a different solution.

Thermals noise and power draw

The camera draws power directly from the USB 3.0 connection, so no external power supply is required and heat output stays negligible during long calls. Whisper-quiet mechanical pan, tilt and zoom motors keep audible noise to a minimum while the lens repositions. RightLight technology balances exposure without adding processing load that would increase device temperature.

Build quality mounting and connectors

A matte black and slate gray chassis uses high-end materials suited to professional environments and supports versatile mounting options for wall, table or tripod placement. The single USB 3.0 cable handles both video data and power, simplifying cable routing and reducing desk clutter. RightSense automation continuously reframes participants, so manual camera adjustment is rarely needed after initial setup.

Questions about this item

How is the Rally Camera mounted and which step do installers often miss?

The camera offers versatile mounting options; the step often missed is routing cables through the integrated cable-management channel before securing the mount.

What maintenance or replacement will the Rally Camera need over time?

The whisper-quiet mechanical pan, tilt and zoom mechanism may require periodic lubrication or motor replacement after extended heavy use.

At what point does the 15× HD zoom hit its optical limit during sustained use?

The 15× HD zoom reaches its maximum optical magnification; beyond that only digital zoom is available, which reduces the 3840 × 2160 pixel resolution.
