USB condenser microphone

The Logitech Blue Snowball connects directly to a PC or Mac via USB 1.1 and requires no additional drivers. Its dual condenser capsules capture vocals, instruments, podcasts and game chat with a frequency response of 40 Hz to 18 kHz at 16 bit and 44.1 kHz sample rate.

Cardioid and omnidirectional pickup

A three-position switch selects cardioid for focused streaming, cardioid with a 10 dB pad for louder sources, or omnidirectional for conference calls and room ambience. The pad adds headroom to keep loud passages clean, while the omnidirectional mode captures sound from every direction.

Adjustable desktop stand included

A sturdy metal stand with a tilt mechanism holds the microphone at the desired angle on any flat surface. The retro-styled brushed aluminium body looks neat on camera, and the fixed USB cable provides a simple plug-and-play connection for Windows Vista or newer and compatible Mac systems.

Questions about this item

Will the Blue Snowball USB microphone work with my older PC that only has USB 1.1 ports?

Yes, the system requirements list USB 1.1 compatibility, so the microphone will operate on older PCs with that port standard.

How can I verify the Blue Snowball is recording at its specified 44.1 kHz / 16 bit quality after setup?

Open your operating system's sound control panel or recording software and confirm the input sample rate shows 44.1 kHz at 16 bit depth.

Does the Blue Snowball package include a stand and cable, or must I buy them separately?

The box includes a fully adjustable metal microphone stand and a USB cable, so no separate purchase is needed for those items.
