Portable Electric Pencil Sharpener Blue

This Logitech sharpener handles standard pencils from 6 to 8 mm diameter. It runs on four AA batteries or a USB cable for flexible placement. The helical blade produces a consistent point while the large shavings canister reduces emptying frequency. It is intended for home, school or office use.

Sustained Operation Behaviour

The motor stops automatically when the pencil reaches the correct sharpness. A lift-open lid and detachable blade prevent jams during repeated use. Battery power lets the unit run away from a socket, while USB power avoids battery drain during long sessions. Hold the pencil firmly and apply steady pressure for best results.

Pre-Purchase Checks

Verify that your pencils fall within the 6 to 8 mm diameter range. Charcoal pencils, chalk, crayons and oil pastels are not supported. Ensure you have four AA batteries or a USB power source available. The unit measures 2.87 by 2.87 by 5.3 inches and weighs 0.3445 kilograms.

Questions about this item

How much noise does the Logitech Portable Electric Pencil Sharpener make when running all day?

The helical blade operates with a low mechanical hum during sharpening cycles and stops automatically when the pencil reaches a point, so sound only occurs while actively sharpening.

What power source do I need to supply for the Logitech sharpener to work?

You must provide four AA batteries or a USB cable connected to a 5 V adapter; neither batteries nor an AC adapter are included.

Will the Logitech sharpener handle the standard 7 mm pencils I already keep in my drawer?

Yes, the sharpener accepts 6–8 mm diameter pencils, so common 7 mm graphite pencils fit and sharpen without jamming.
