Portable Battery-Powered Sharpener

The tenwin TW8004-3 is a compact electric pencil sharpener designed for students, artists, and office workers who need a portable solution. It runs on four AA batteries, eliminating the need for a power outlet. The pink plastic housing weighs .159 kilograms and measures 7.6962 by 7.7978 by 7.8994 centimetres. It handles both standard No.2 pencils and coloured pencils with ease.

Dual-Hole Operation and Safety

The unit features two distinct entry holes sized for 6-8 mm and 8-12 mm pencil diameters. A strong motor engages automatically when a pencil is pressed into either hole with light pressure. An automatic stop function activates once sharpening is complete or if the transparent side cover is opened, protecting fingers from the spiral steel blade. The blade assembly is removable for simple cleaning of shavings.

Power and Compatibility Check

Verify that you have four AA batteries available, as they are not included with the sharpener. Do not mix old and new batteries or combine different brands. Confirm your pencils fall within the 6-12 mm diameter range; pencils outside this range cannot be sharpened. The device must be kept dry and should not be cleaned with water or alcohol. Remove the batteries during extended periods of non-use.
