Dual NVME SATA 2.5 Enclosure
The LORDWORLD USB 3.0 Type-C enclosure connects one M.2 NVMe SSD or one 2.5 inch SATA drive to a host via USB. It accepts M-Key and B+M M.2 modules in 2242, 2260 and 2280 lengths. An aluminum alloy shell provides heat dissipation and a slim profile for portable use.
Suits single-drive workflows
Users who need to alternate between an NVMe module and a laptop SATA drive will find the combo slot convenient. It does not support simultaneous operation; if both interfaces are populated only the SATA drive is recognised. Builders requiring 3.5 inch desktop drives, mSATA modules or PCIe AHCI M.2 SSDs should look elsewhere.
Tool-free drive swap with caveats
The vertical PCBA layout allows the drive to be seated without screws, and the reversible Type-C cable simplifies host connection. Hot plugging is not supported, so the host must be disconnected before changing media. NVMe performance reaches 10Gbps only on USB-C Gen 2 or faster ports; on USB 3.0 or 3.1 Gen1 the link falls back to 5Gbps.

Questions about this item
What M.2 drive lengths and key types does the enclosure accept?
It accepts M-Key or B+M Key NVMe SSDs in 2242, 2260 and 2280 lengths; M.2 SATA SSDs are not supported.
Will my 2.5-inch laptop SATA drive work alongside an M.2 NVMe drive installed at the same time?
Only one drive operates at once; if both are inserted the SATA drive takes priority and the NVMe drive is ignored.
How can I verify the enclosure is delivering the 10Gbps link for my NVMe SSD?
Connect the Type-C cable to a USB 3.1 Gen 2 or USB4 port and check the operating system reports a 10Gbps SuperSpeed USB connection.
