Adds three USB 3.0 Type-A ports and a 4K HDMI output at 3840 x 2160 @ 30 Hz to a USB-C device with DisplayPort alt mode
This hub adds three USB Type-A 3.0 SuperSpeed ports and one HDMI output to a single USB 3.1 Type-C connection. It is designed for laptop or desktop users who need extra peripherals and an external display without installing drivers. The unit is plug-and-play and works with USB 2.0 devices as well.
The HDMI port supports a maximum resolution of 3840 x 2160 at 30 Hz, so high-refresh-rate monitors will run at a lower frame rate. USB 3.0 data throughput is shared across the three ports and the host link. Full video function requires the host USB-C port to support DisplayPort alt mode.
If the computer's USB-C port lacks DisplayPort alt mode, the HDMI output will not work even though the USB ports remain active. Buyers who need video on a host without alt mode cannot use this adapter for that purpose.

The JCH451 is the single model offered; it provides three USB 3.0 Type-A ports plus one HDMI output.
It is the maximum resolution and refresh rate the HDMI port can drive, so a 4K display will run at 30 Hz.
The hub connects via USB 3.1 Type-C and the three Type-A ports run at USB 3.0 SuperSpeed (5 Gbps).
