Lorell 18218 file cabinet 16 x 22 x 28.3

Compact mobile pedestal for desk-side filing

The Lorell Essentials 18218 is a freestanding pedestal measuring 16 by 22 by 28.3 inches with an 18.500 inch width. It weighs 84.66 pounds and rolls on four 1-1/2 inch dual-wheel casters. A box-box-file drawer layout includes 96mm silver-brush metal pulls and a 1 inch thick espresso laminate top with 3mm PVC edges.

Stable daily operation under full drawer loads

The high-quality laminate construction resists wear when all three drawers are fully loaded with letter-size or legal-size hanging files. The file drawer incorporates hangrails that keep folders upright during repeated opening and closing. Four dual-wheel casters maintain smooth mobility even when the unit carries its maximum practical load, and the 1 inch thick top provides a rigid worksurface that does not flex under typical office equipment.

Replaces stationary cabinets that lack mobility

This pedestal upgrades from fixed pedestals or floor-standing cabinets that cannot be repositioned without emptying drawers. The caster base allows the unit to be moved for cleaning, layout changes or collaborative work sessions. The jump is worth it when a workspace demands frequent reconfiguration or when a single mobile unit must serve multiple desks over the course of a day.
