Product Identity

The Lorell 43515 is a 42" wide receding lateral file designed for offices that need high-density side-to-side filing. Four drawers operate on heavy-duty, three-piece ball-bearing slides for smooth movement. The unit ships new in a black finish and meets applicable ANSI/BIFMA standards.

Suitability

This cabinet suits teams that store letter, legal or A4 folders on included hangrails and value the interlock system that prevents multiple drawers opening at once. It is not for buyers who need built-in dividers, front-to-back filing rails or a narrower footprint for tight spaces.

Deciding Specification

The 42" width determines whether the file fits the planned wall run and matches the existing furniture lineup. Measure the available space and confirm that the receding-front design with roll-out shelves on the upper three drawers matches the workflow before ordering.
