Mobile file pedestal for letter-size storage

The Lorell 49520 is a steel mobile pedestal finished in putty, measuring 15 by 19.9 by 27.8 inches. It provides three drawers that accept letter-size files and uses ball-bearing suspension for smooth operation. A security lock secures all drawers with a single key.

Suits compact offices needing lockable filing

Workers who want mobile, lockable storage for active paperwork will find the three-drawer layout practical. Buyers who need legal-size capacity or a deeper drawer for hanging folders should look elsewhere. The fixed height and putty finish also limit integration with darker or height-adjustable desk systems.

Three letter-size drawers

The unit contains three drawers built for letter-size media, each running on steel ball-bearing slides. This drawer count and suspension type determine whether daily filing volume and retrieval speed match the workload.

Questions about this item

Will the 15-inch wide pedestal fit under a desk with 27 inches of knee clearance?

The unit stands 27.8 inches high, so a desk with at least that much vertical clearance is required.

How can I confirm the drawers operate smoothly once assembled?

Open and close each drawer; the steel ball-bearing suspension should glide without binding and the security lock should engage cleanly on the top drawer.

Does the package include all hardware needed to install the casters and lock?

The pedestal ships assembled with casters and lock installed; no additional parts are required for basic operation.
