Questions about this item

How do I install the Lorell 49521 mobile file pedestal, and what step do people often get wrong?

The unit ships fully assembled on four casters. Simply roll it into position and lock the two front casters; the step users miss is engaging both wheel brakes so the pedestal cannot shift when drawers are opened.

What maintenance will the Lorell 49521 need later?

Periodically wipe the steel shell and recessed handle with a damp cloth, lubricate the ball-bearing suspension slides with light silicone spray if drawers stiffen, and keep the security lock cylinder free of dust for smooth key operation.
