Mobile File Cart for Letter-Size Folders

The Lorell 60175 is a perforated steel rollaway file designed to hold letter-size hanging folders in an open-top layout. Integrated 22-3/4" hangrails keep folders aligned and ready for quick access. It suits offices that need a compact, mobile filing solution without a full cabinet footprint.

Steel Build and Four-Caster Mobility

The black steel finish resists daily wear while the perforated sides reduce weight and add ventilation for stored documents. Four casters let the cart glide between workstations or tuck under a desk when not in use. An open bottom shelf provides extra space for supplies or archive boxes without tools or assembly.

Passive Cooling and Silent Operation

With no motor or fan the cart runs silently in shared or quiet environments. The perforated steel panels allow natural airflow around folders, helping prevent moisture build-up on paper. Power draw is zero, so the unit adds no load to office circuits and requires no outlets or cable management.

Questions about this item

What does the 22-3/4" hangrail measurement mean for letter-size folders?

The built-in hangrails span 22-3/4 inches, matching standard letter-size hanging folder width so folders suspend correctly across the open top.

What clearance does the cart need to roll and fit under a desk?

Four casters on the steel frame require a flat floor area wide enough for the cart's footprint and enough vertical space for the perforated body to pass beneath the desk edge.

How is the file cart assembled and what step is often missed?

Attach the four casters to the base frame before loading folders; skipping caster installation leaves the unit immobile and the bottom shelf unusable for storage.
