36" Wide Four-Drawer Lateral File

This 36-inch wide lateral file provides four drawers designed for side-to-side filing of letter, legal and A4 documents. It is built for offices that need high-density document storage in a single cabinet. The light gray finish suits professional environments. The unit is sold as a single piece.

Magnetic Labels, Core-Removable Lock.

Each drawer includes a magnetic label holder for quick identification of contents. A core-removable lock secures all drawers, while dual locking bars add strength. An interlock system prevents more than one drawer opening at once, reducing tip risk. Ball-bearing slides ensure smooth operation.

Meets ANSI/BIFMA Standards

The cabinet meets or exceeds applicable ANSI/BIFMA standards for safety and durability. A built-in counterweight and four adjustable leveling guides stabilise the unit on uneven floors. The reinforced base supports heavy loads across all four drawers. This compliance confirms suitability for daily commercial use.

Questions about this item

How do I keep the ball-bearing slides on the 60445 running smoothly?

Wipe the slides clean periodically and apply a light dry lubricant; the ball-bearing suspension is designed for long service without heavy maintenance.

Which part of the 60445 reaches its limit first when drawers are opened repeatedly all day?

The interlock system that blocks a second drawer from opening is the first safety mechanism engaged under constant cycling.

How much noise and heat does the 60445 produce when left fully loaded for hours?

The cabinet has no motor or electronics, so it generates no heat and only the quiet click of the lock and slides during use.
