48 x 24 Mahogany Desk Shell

The Lorell 69375 is a rectangular desk shell finished in mahogany laminate. It measures 47.3 by 23.6 by 29.5 inches and provides a 1-inch thick work surface. The unit ships as a single component for assembly into a home or commercial office setting.

Replaces a basic table or undersized desk

This shell upgrades a workspace that lacks cable management or structural rigidity. The jump is worth it when a full modesty panel and integrated grommet holes are needed for a cleaner, more private workstation layout.

Cam-lock assembly with pre-drilled inserts

Metal-to-metal cam locks and pre-drilled holes with metal inserts simplify the build process. The adjustable floor guides compensate for uneven surfaces. Installation requires time and basic tools; the unit is not freestanding without the included leveling glides secured.

Questions about this item

How much floor clearance do the adjustable feet on the 47.3" wide desk shell provide for leveling?

The adjustable floor guides let you raise or lower each corner independently so the 29.5" high desk sits level on uneven floors.

Which step is most often missed when assembling the metal-to-metal cam-lock connections on this 69375 desk shell?

Insert the cam bolts fully into the pre-drilled holes before tightening the cams; skipping that step leaves joints loose.

How often should the leveling glides on the 23.6" deep desk shell be checked and readjusted?

Check the glides after the first week of use and then whenever the desk is moved or the floor settles.
