Mobile pedestal file/file

The Lorell 69397 mobile pedestal provides a file/file drawer configuration for office filing. It is built for professionals who need secure, mobile storage beside a desk. High-quality laminate construction matches the Essentials Series aesthetic. The unit arrives new and sold as a single piece.

Sustained daily use

Dual-wheel casters keep the pedestal rolling smoothly when fully loaded with documents. Each file drawer includes hangrails that support both letter-size and legal-size hanging folders without sagging. The 1-inch thick laminate top and 3mm PVC edges resist wear from constant opening and closing. A built-in lock secures both drawers during unattended hours.

Installation and common issues

No assembly is required; the pedestal ships ready to use. Leveling glides on the casters compensate for uneven floors to prevent wobble. The 96mm brushed aluminum pulls may feel tight until the drawer slides break in. Ensure the lock key is stored separately to avoid lockout after moving the unit.

Questions about this item

Does the 1-1/2" dual-wheel caster design make the pedestal noisy or unstable when it is moved across a hard floor all day?

The four dual-wheel casters roll smoothly on hard floors and the adjustable floor guides keep the unit steady when it is stationary.

What desk or workstation must I already own so the 96mm brushed-aluminum pulls line up with my existing hardware?

The pedestal is built to match the Lorell Essentials Series laminate line, so it pairs naturally with those desks and returns.

Will the 1" thick laminate top and file/file drawer layout fit alongside the older Lorell components I already have?

The Essentials Series shares the same laminate finish and dimensions, so this mobile pedestal sits flush with earlier Essentials pieces.
