Right pedestal desk with two drawers

This Lorell desk combines a walnut laminate top with a black steel frame for a casual office look. The right-hand pedestal holds two drawers that ride on ball-bearing suspension for smooth operation. A lockable drawer secures documents or personal items. The surface resists scratches and stains in daily use.

Suits solo workstations needing secure storage

Buyers who want a left-hand pedestal or a centre drawer layout should look elsewhere. Offices requiring more than two drawers or a larger surface area will not find them here. The unit ships flat and requires assembly on site.

66 inch width defines the footprint

At 66 inches wide and 30 inches deep, the desk sets the space it occupies. The steel frame weighs 161 pounds once assembled, so plan for two people to move it. Adjustable glides level the desk on uneven floors. Grommets and cord management keep cables tidy.

Questions about this item

Does the Lorell 79145 desk arrive fully assembled or will I need to put it together?

The desk requires assembly. It ships in a single carton weighing 161 pounds and includes the steel frame, walnut laminate top, two lockable drawers with ball-bearing suspension, a grommet for cord management and adjustable glides.

How do I decide between the 30-inch depth and the 66-inch width for my office layout?

The 30-inch depth determines how far the desk projects from the wall, while the 66-inch width sets the side-to-side span. Choose based on the floor space you can allocate and the monitor or paperwork area you need.

What does the 161-pound weight mean once the desk is in place?

At 161 pounds the unit is stable enough to resist shifting during daily use, yet the adjustable glides let you level it on uneven floors without extra shims. The steel frame and laminate top handle typical office loads without flex.
