Assembly and space requirements

This desk requires assembly before use and measures 55 inches wide by 23.6 inches deep by 30 inches high. Verify that the intended room can accommodate these dimensions and that you have the tools and time for setup. The leveling feet guides help stabilize the desk on uneven floors once assembled.

Buyers needing compact storage

This model suits users who want a single integrated unit with a file drawer and two additional drawers in a charcoal laminate finish. It is not for buyers who need a larger surface area, more than three drawers, or a desk without assembly requirements.

Questions about this item

Does the 55-inch wide Lorell 97616 desk come fully assembled or will I need to put it together myself?

Assembly is required; the desk ships in one carton with all hardware and illustrated instructions for the steel tube legs, laminate top and three drawer units.

Which drawer on the 30-inch high SOHO desk is the file drawer and what size hanging folders does it accept?

The bottom drawer is the file drawer and accommodates standard letter-size hanging folders front-to-back across its 23.6-inch depth.

How do the leveling glides on the powder-coated steel legs help when the floor under the 97616 desk is uneven?

Each leg has an adjustable glide that can be turned by hand to raise or lower that corner independently, keeping the 55 by 23.6-inch work surface stable on irregular flooring.
