Lorell Prominence 2.0 Espresso Desk

The Lorell PD3672DPES is a double-pedestal desk finished in espresso thermofused melamine. It belongs to the Prominence 2.0 series and is built from particleboard with a 1-inch thick top. The desk provides a large work surface and integrated storage for office environments. Two grommets help keep cables organised.

Five drawers across two pedestals

This model includes five drawers split between file and box types, all mounted on ball-bearing slides. One drawer is lockable for securing sensitive documents. The double-pedestal layout maximises storage capacity directly at the workstation. Adjustable glides allow the desk to sit level on uneven floors.

Requires 72 by 30 inch floor space

The desk stands 29 inches high, 72 inches wide and 30 inches deep, so the room must accommodate that footprint. A modesty panel is included for privacy. The laminate surface resists impacts, burns and marring for daily durability. Buyers needing a smaller desk or a different drawer configuration should consider other models.

Questions about this item

How does the 72-inch width translate to usable desktop space once the two pedestals are in place?

The full 72-inch top spans both pedestals, giving a continuous work surface; each pedestal sits at the ends so the centre remains clear for monitors or paperwork.

What do the two grommets actually accommodate for cable routing?

Two round grommets are cut into the top to pass power cords and data cables through to the floor or a cable tray.

What clearance is needed for the file and box drawers to open fully?

Drawers ride on ball-bearing slides and require enough room in front of the desk for full extension; allow at least the drawer depth plus user space.
