Two clear 18 AWG extension cords extend indoor power by six feet with NEMA 1-15P to 1-15R connectors rated 10A 125V
This two-pack of clear 18 AWG extension cords adds six feet of reach to indoor holiday string lights and low-wattage décor. Each cord carries a NEMA 1-15P male plug and a matching 1-15R female receptacle rated for 10 amps at 125 volts. The transparent jacket keeps wiring nearly invisible against walls, rugs or furniture. It suits anyone extending seasonal lighting without adding visual clutter.
As a passive copper conductor with PVC insulation, the cord produces no fan noise and draws no power of its own. Heat rises only from the current flowing through the 18 AWG wires, so the cable stays cool when powering typical LED light strings or small lamps within the 10 amp rating. UL listing confirms the materials meet US safety standards for this load. No active cooling or power supply is involved.
Under continuous use the copper conductors maintain their rated 10 amp capacity for the full six-foot length without a time-limited burst restriction. Voltage drop remains proportional to the connected load and the 18 AWG gauge, so the cord behaves consistently whether powering a single string of lights or several daisy-chained sets up to the rated limit. The clear PVC jacket resists stiffening at normal indoor temperatures.

Align the wider neutral blade on the male plug with the wider slot on the female receptacle, then push straight in until both prongs seat fully; forcing the narrower blade first bends the contacts.
Replace the cord if the transparent jacket shows cracks, the copper looks dark or green at the ends, or the plug blades feel loose in an outlet.
The 10 A rating is the limiting factor; sustained loads at that level will warm the 18 AWG conductors to their maximum safe temperature.
