13ft DC Extension Cable 2-Pack

This pack contains two 6.56ft cables that extend a 5.5mm x 2.1mm DC power connection. They suit installers who need extra reach for security cameras, LED strips or similar low-voltage devices. Each cord uses a male-to-female barrel plug for a straight plug-and-play link.

Voltage and Connector Limits

The cables are rated for DC equipment up to 24V, covering common 5V, 9V, 12V, 15V and 24V supplies. They only fit hardware with a 5.5mm outer and 2.1mm inner barrel diameter; the 2.5mm inner variant listed in the data will not work with this specific plug size.

Check Your Gear Before Ordering

Verify that both your power supply and the target device use a 5.5mm x 2.1mm DC jack. Confirm the supply voltage does not exceed 24V DC. The 20AWG conductors are intended for low-current loads, so ensure your equipment draws within that capability.

Questions about this item

Which pack length should I choose for my setup?

The pack contains two cables, each 6.56 ft long, giving a combined reach of 13 ft. Use one cable for shorter runs or join both for longer distances.

What does the 20 AWG rating mean once the cable is installed?

The 20 AWG pure copper conductors keep resistance low so 12 V or 24 V devices such as cameras and LED strips receive stable power over the full 13 ft.

Will the 5.5 mm × 2.1 mm barrel plug fit my 12 V router adapter?

Yes — the male-to-female connectors match the common 5.5 mm outer and 2.1 mm inner diameter used on many 12 V DC power supplies.
