12.9" WQXGA IPS Replacement Panel

The LPScreen LP129QE1 is a 12.9 inch WQXGA display with a 2560x1700 resolution and IPS technology. It delivers 400 cd/m² brightness and an 800:1 contrast ratio. The panel covers 65% NTSC with 16.7M colours and wide 80-degree viewing angles. A 60Hz refresh rate and 40-pin connector complete the specification.

Repair Shops and DIY Upgraders

This screen suits technicians replacing a damaged LP129QE1(SP)(A1) panel or owners upgrading a compatible chassis. It is not for buyers needing touch input, as the model lacks a digitiser. Users requiring a higher refresh rate or a different connector layout should look elsewhere.

40-Pin Connector Compatibility

The single specification that decides fit is the 40-pin connector paired with the LP129QE1(SP)(A1) part number. Verify this exact interface on your original panel before ordering. An incorrect pin count or layout will prevent installation.

Questions about this item

How much heat or power does the 12.9" WQXGA 2560x1700 IPS panel draw during all-day use?

The screen runs at a 60Hz refresh rate with 400 cd/m² brightness and an 800:1 contrast ratio, typical for a 12.9" IPS panel of this resolution.

Which connector must my laptop already have for this LP129QE1 screen to work?

This replacement screen uses a 40-pin connector; your laptop must provide the matching 40-pin interface for it to function.

Will the 40-pin LP129QE1 display work alongside an older internal screen I keep as a spare?

The panel is built to the LP129QE1(SP)(A1) specification with a 40-pin interface; it replaces that exact model rather than operating in parallel with a different screen.
