15.6" FHD replacement panel

This 15.6 inch LCD panel replaces a damaged LP156WFC-SPF6 screen in compatible laptops. It delivers a 1920x1080 Full HD picture at a standard 60Hz refresh rate. The 30-pin connector matches the original part for direct installation. Buyers needing touch input or a different connector layout cannot use this model.

Capacity and headroom: 250 cd/m² brightness

Typical indoor lighting is handled comfortably by the 250 cd/m² output. The 700:1 contrast ratio provides adequate depth for office documents and video playback. Bright outdoor environments or colour-critical workflows will find the panel runs out of luminance and dynamic range. The 45% NTSC colour gamut covers basic sRGB content but not wider gamuts.

Practical limits of the 30-pin eDP interface

The 30-pin connector carries a single-lane eDP signal locked to 60Hz at 1920x1080. Higher refresh rates or resolutions exceed the link bandwidth and are not supported. Viewing angles of 80 degrees in each direction mean colour shifts appear quickly off-centre. The 262K colour depth (6-bit with dithering) introduces banding in smooth gradients.

Questions about this item

Will the 30-pin connector on this LP156WFC-SPF6 screen match the cable already inside my laptop?

This panel uses a 30-pin connector; verify that your existing cable also has 30 pins before fitting.

How can I confirm the 1920x1080 60Hz panel is running correctly once installed?

Check the display settings show 1920x1080 at 60Hz and look for even 250 cd/m² brightness with no dead pixels.

Does the box include mounting brackets or adhesive strips, or must I source them separately?

Only the 15.6" screen itself is supplied; brackets, bezel clips and any adhesive are not included.
